Jim Sebastian Sharman is a British-born actor, voice over artist and writer from Liverpool, now living in Tallinn, Estonia. In his teenage years he enjoyed acting at the 'Everyman Youth Theatre' and was part of a regional tour in 1986 that performed a modern interpretation of 'Lord of the Flies'. In later years, he focussed on other career pursuits (using acting and role-playing skills in Learning & Development roles) but returned to acting, writing and performing in 2018, when he emigrated to Estonia. There he has worked as a street theatre-style tour guide for the 'Tales of Reval' troupe (as the 15th century Hanseatic merchant 'Sebastian Schurmann'), has attended several Spoken Word events with original performance poetry works, is the voice of the lead character Badass in 'Mortalis: Back to the Roots' (an Estonian-founded mmorpg start-up which will also have its own audio book and film project), has appeared in several TV advertisements (e.g. Renault, Krusovice, etc.) broadcast in Europe & Russia) and was also a featured extra in the Estonian-produced feature film O2 (or 'Dawn of War'), released in 2020, as the British Ambassador to Estonia for 1939. His first full, speaking part in a feature film was as Mr Bramley, in the Mart Sander-produced movie 'The Sixth Secret', recorded and released in 2022 (première was at HÖFF, the 17th annual Haapsalu Horror & Fantasy Film Festival, where it won the Audience Choice Award and set a new record as the first film to be 100% sold out at the festival). He has also provided the English language narration the medieval-themed short film 'The Prince' by Nathan Popa, released in May 2022 in Estonia. Show less «
