Jillian Shields is an American actress. She was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania as Jillian Ruth Braderman. Jillian was raised by her father Billy Braderman (a mainframe computer executive) and her artist mother Sylvia Braderman (Shields).In her early childhood, Jillian developed an affinity for the arts including acting and music. By the age of 4, she began taking lessons in classical piano. By 6 years of age, she was actively participating in school plays. This later led Jillian to star in most of her school's productions during her adolescent years.From age 8 to 13 years old, Jillian traveled each summer for her musical and theatrical studies. She journeyed from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to Kingston, Ontario to learn at the esteemed Queen's University. There she studied musical theatre, violin and the flute. This eventually led Jillian to become a certified Suzuki piano teacher by the young age of 11.During her time at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Jillian started taking part in larger scale Gilbert and Sullivan musical productions. These productions brought Jillian's passion for acting and drama directly to the forefront. At 15 years old, she traveled to Los Angeles, California and began intensive training for acting in film and television with the New York Film Academy. After graduating high school, Jillian attended California State University Northridge in Los Angeles, California. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cinema, Television and Radio.Since then, Jillian has been working as a professional actress and model. She has appeared in numerous films and television shows. These include appearances in "ER" and "Rules of Engagement". In 2012, she had a principal role in the film "Dust Up". This film, by DrexelBox/Ward Roberts' earned Jillian her Taft-Hartley into SAG-AFTRA. Jillian's most recent film roles include "Wonder Wheel" 2017 by Woody Allen, "Hot Air" 2018 by Frank Coraci and "Right Before Your Eyes" 2018 by David Vincent Bobb.
