Jill Crenshaw is an American actress living in Los Angeles. She was born Long Island, NY and grew up in Texas with her parents and brother and sister. Since moving to Los Angeles, Jill spent several years repairing guitars and touring with bands such as Fishbone, Bad Religion, Wayne Kramer and Courtney Love's band Hole. She has traveled to 28 countries and 49 of the 50 US states. Only Alaska still eludes her... for now.In 2003, she tore open a new chapter as a performer. She graced the raucous stages of L.A. sketch comedy with troupes such as Sitcoms Blow, The Rebellion and Tomboys in Fishnets. She has showcased her comedy stylings in both the Aspen Comedy Festival in 2003 and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland in 2004.Jill made her independent film debut starring in The Slamdance Festival short Sky Drops (2009) directed by Burke Roberts. She traveled to Birmingham, Alabama to film the lead in a Robert Rugan short film entitled Infected (2011) and then returned to LA to star in the feature film Heaven Strewn (2011) directed by J.T. Gurzi. Heaven Strewn (2011) was a finalist for Best Acting Ensemble in a Feature Film at The Ashland Independent Film Festival in April 2011. Jill's recent credits include roles in the short film "Been Good To Know Yuh" on the life of Woody Guthrie, the feature film Lionhead (2013) starring Michael Madsen, Richard Riehle & Ray Wise and a recurring role in USA Network's breakout success "Colony" starring Josh Holloway and Peter Jacobson.
