Jiji Hise was born and raised in New Mexico. She discovered her love of acting in High School as part of the Mummers Drama Club. After High School, Jiji attended New Mexico State University where she majored in Theatre Arts. While attending NMSU, she worked on a triple focus in Acting, Make-up, and Costumes. Jiji received her BA in Theatre Arts in May, 2005. Just after graduating for college, she spent a summer in Chatham, NY (a hamlet in upstate NY) at the MacHaydn Theatre, where Jiji worked as a Wig Designer and Wardrobe assistant. While working at the MacHaydn, she discovered the the film industry was slowly growing in her home state of New Mexico. So after the Summer Season ended at the MacHaydn, Jiji returned home to start her training to work in film.Because Jiji has always loved behind the camera, or backstage as the case may be, as much as she loves being in front, she decided to pursue a career as a make-up artist. In order to gain the experience and skill to become a professional make-up artist, Jiji had to work on a lot of low budget shorts and features. Her first feature was a movie called "Naked Fear". Jiji became a member of IATSE Local 480 (the film union in NM) in 2007. Jiji, however, has never given up on her hopes of being a successful actress. In 2006, she signed with an agent. However, Jiji's first SAG role didn't come until the summer of 2008. She landed the part of a mother in a car crash in the feature film "Inhale" staring Dermot Mulroney. Jiji's next SAG role was on the television series "Crash".
