Jhonattan Ardila is a Colombian actor born in the city of Cali. He moved with his parents at the age of 4 to New York City. After becoming known for his extraordinary salsa dancing skills at the young age of 7, he appeared in several Hispanic television shows,. This lead to appearances and performances in Hispanic festivals and salsa concerts.After moving to Broward, Florida at the age of 12, Jhonattan focused on school and sports during his teen years.A couple of years after moving to Montreal, Jhonattan was drawn to the film industry by an ad looking for extras in a Discover Channel show. This was the beginning to a Jhonatttan's love for an industry that catered to his outgoing and extrovert personality.Jhonattan has riled up credits in several films that have gone through the film festival circuit, most recently "Evolutio-N", which was a special selection by the Montreal Comic-Con. Contrary to his easy-going and happy personality, Jhonattan feels comfortable playing roles of an antagonist nature, such as tough detectives or gritty gangsters.He also made his theatrical debut in "Den Of Thieves" by LastOneStanding Productions, in which he played a flamboyant and troubled gangster named "Flaco". Despite his lack of theatrical experience and training, his performance received very high reviews.Jhonattan made his directoral debut with the short film "My Mile" which shows decisions can come back to affect people, no matter the social classes, race and genders.
