Jessica Lynn Ambuehl was born and raised in the Midwest but her heart to serve the broken has taken her all over the world for nearly twenty-five years. Her global experiences have brought richness and understanding to story-telling on both sides of the camera . . . from acting to producing, from directing to photojournalism. Her love for performing began at age 15 as a singer and developed into a desire to pursue acting and modeling. After a small taste of it in high school and college, she changed her focus and received a Master's Degree in Public Relations and Marketing. Little did she know that those skills years later would help her personal branding as a performer on screen. In her early twenties, Jessica brought her toddler son to an agency and decided to audition as well. After getting another taste of the industry, she began to pursue acting and modeling as a career, no longer viewing it as a hobby.Jessica is represented by multiple agencies and has a growing resume with over 100 jobs from commercials to print work, from independent films to voice overs, and from industrial and social videos to hosting and speaking opportunities. Her experience with national companies like Goodwill, AT&T, United Airlines, Klogs, Marriott, Purina Mills and Bayer Medicine in combination with her variety of film roles such as a newscaster in Toby Kebbell and Penelope Mitchell's "Becoming," a triangle-scheme make-up representative in "The Racket," and as the Goddess Isis in "Shakespeare's Mummy" displays her versatility in and passion for acting. As a storyteller behind the camera, Jessica's producing/directing/casting work can be seen on her company website: www.underthetreedesigns.org . And, as a photojournalist, she has visited over 15 countries, capturing life through the lens and providing images for nonprofits that draw an audience into desiring to know more about the subject/story, exposing them to a reality they may not know existed but can no longer deny.
