Writer, producer and director Jerry Rapp has been working professionally in the field since attending the USC School of Cinematic Arts, with a emphasis in screenwriting and production.Rapp's first screenplay, On The Air, was acquired by Imagine Entertainment, and led to a number of other script sales, including Tourists also for Imagine, Wishing for Paramount, Foster's Kids for Universal, Guilty of Suspicion for MGM, and Richie Rich Goes Public for Harvey Entertainment, among several others. His first feature film, Sand Trap, which he also produced, was acquired by HBO.Rapp's notable television work includes, Itsy Bitsy Spider for USA Network, The Mask for New Line TV, Tales From the Crypt, Wishbone, and Monsters.Rapp has directed and produced a number of films which have played in notable festivals, including the popular R&H Educational Film Series for Hypnotic, which aired on Showtime.His other work includes films Moving Alan and Mojave Phone Booth - which has shown in international and domestic festivals and was distributed worldwide. Recent work includes the feature, Gutshot Straight, starring George Eads, Stephen Lang and Ted Levine. Rapp's latest feature, Looking Glass, stars Nicolas Cage and Robin Tunney.Rapp works as a full-time script doctor and ghost writer, and has generated, and/or revised hundreds of screenplays, short- and long-form works, novels, short stories, web series, and commercials.
