Jerry Katell was born in New York City and received degrees from M.I.T. and Stanford Business School. He had a long and successful career as a real estate developer before he started his acting career. His father was an actor and performed in productions of Fiddler on the Roof, Music Man, and Oklahoma, amongst others. Jerry has had intensive training with Larry Moss Studios. In addition to his film roles, he has appeared in the world premieres of two plays, Just a Song at Twilight in January and February, 2010 at the Write Act Repertory Theater in Hollywood and Maxwell Street in April, 2011 at the Barbara Morrison Theatre in Leimert Park.
