As a director of photography, Jeremy has lensed a wide-range of independent films and productions, including the feature film Holding Patterns, staring Freddie Highmore and Odeya Rush, as well as the short films The Challenger, Younglings, the web series JourneyQuest, and the 16mm short film Diana.Over several years he served as chief lighting technician on dozens of projects under talented DPs, many of the films appearing at Sundance, SXSW, Toronto International, Venice, and other prestigious film festivals. His lighting credits include Captain Fantastic, Green Room, Night Moves, The One I Love, Laggies, Lucky Them, Eden, Fat Kid Rules the World, Safety Not Guaranteed, Your Sister's Sister, as well as Grassroots and the Indie Spirit Award nominated The Off Hours.In 2011, he directed the short film While You Weren't Looking, which follows a daredevil 6-year-old girl finding an outlet for her rebellion in riding a grocery cart. The film played at Palm Springs Shortfest, BUFF Sweden, Byron Bay, and won 4th Runner-up at Seattle International in Live Action Shorts. In 2012, he directed a SIFF Fly Film titled The Return which later played at the Austin Film Festival.His latest short, Chasing the Sun, premiered at the Seattle International Film Festival, and continues it's run on the festival circuit.
