Jenny Dixon is an award winning Irish actress, best known for playing lovable, ditsy Kerri-Ann in the popular TV network series Fair City, RTE1 (2013 - 2018). Voted Favourite Soap Star of the Year by RSVP magazine in 2018, with 5 Seasons of major, front page, headline grabbing storylines. In 2019 she made her panto debut as Fairy Godmother in the Dublin Cheerios Panto, Cinderella.Jenny initially set out on a very different career path, graduating with a first class honours degree in zoology and a post grad from Trinity College Dublin. She taught highschool students while commencing her study of acting. She worked as a model for TV show Ireland AM, bridal runways and new fashion designer showcases. She took a career break from teaching, starting her acting career in Los Angeles where she studied with many of the great teachers including Lesley Kahn at the Kahnstitute and Crystal Carson of General Hospital. In Ireland she studied with Cathal Quinn at The Lir, David Scott and Terry McMahon. She is part based in Los Angeles.In LA, Jenny has played theatre roles including 'Gretel' in Hansel & Gretel and Pink Floyd's 'Innocent Soul'. She played 'Baby' in Dirty Dancing in Ireland at the Wright Venue. She appeared in an episode of The Girls Next Door on E!, famously having dinner with Hugh Hefner. Other American TV appearances include her episode on Justice For All with Christina Perez. Jenny has featured in music videos including Taio Cruz's hit 'Dynamite' and the world tour promo video for Amir Kahn.In 2018 she presented Best Director Award at The Irish Film & TV Awards (IFTAs). She has competed in Battle of the Stars twice, first as Strictly Come Dancing and second as Celebrity Lip Sync Battle playing Taylor Swift, which she also performed live on The Ray Darcy Show on RTE one network and won. Jenny has appeared in over 20 short Irish films, playing lead roles in over half of them. One of these was screened at Cannes Film Festival 2010. She was voted 'Funniest Female' 2014 in the Soap Pundit Awards, several times nominated Best Actress (The Gossies), & nominated Most Stylish Newcomer at VIP Awards. Her feature films include The Ecstasy of Isabel Mann, The Green Sea and Full Circle. With her love of fashion, fitness and philosophy, she frequently graces the covers of magazines around Ireland. She has also appeared on Brendan O'Connor's The Saturday Night Show, The Late Late Show (on RTE one), The Today Show & The Six O'Clock Show (on Virgin Media). She has appeared American TV for modeling slots for ABC America Mario Lopez's show Extra.
