Jennifer Castillo is an American actress born in Houston, Texas. She is Latina as her parents are from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Jennifer began her career appearing as a model working for Ford, Barbie and Embassy Suites. Her latest credits include A Daughter's Deceit, a Lifetime movie in which she played the role of housekeeper Vera and she will appear in a recurring role on a TV series.Even as a young child, Jennifer was interested in performing arts. Her parents put her in ballet and tap classes at the age of seven. She then went onto to take different studio dance classes and then continued by attaining a position on a dance team in Houston. She and the other dance members toured the state to compete with other schools. She's experienced in Ballet, Jazz, Salsa, and Hip-hop.After high school, she attended Sam Houston State University in Hunstville, Texas where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. After graduation, she moved back to Houston and decided to start taking acting classes. She studied at Page Parkes Center of Modeling and Acting before moving to Los Angeles.Jennifer supports her father's foundation, Clothing God's Children (a foundation providing clothes and shoes for children in third world countries). She has traveled on mission trips to Honduras and El Salvador to assist in helping less fortunate communities. Her goal alongside acting is to be a good role model for young women around the world.
