Born in the shadow of Mt. Shasta and raised in the quaint little town of McCloud, this gifted northern California beauty was destined for a life in show business before she could barely walk. With her big blue eyes and sparkling personality her parents realized that they had something special in little Jenni and before she reached her 5th birthday they began paving the way for her to attend ballet and tap classes, as well as appearing in Little Theatre productions in the surrounding area. During her elementary and early high school years Jenni along with her parents and sister Becci were lucky enough to spend their summers at "Wyntoon", the vacation home of William Randolph Hearst. It was here at this extravagant estate that she would first encounter some of Hollywood's best known film and TV luminaries that would ultimately provide the necessary keys for her to pursue a career in showbiz. By the time Jenni reached High School, her dream of a career in acting was becoming reality when she landed the lead role in productions like "Grease", "The Sound of Music" and "My Fair Lady" which won her outstanding reviews from local critics. As she later tell Sacramento Bee film critic Carla Meyer, "I really feel I owe a large part of any success I've had or hope to have to the many wonderful industry people I got to know during my summers at the Hearst estate. It was through their generous support and encouragement that help to approach my work and the business with a sense of pride and confidence". From almost the moment Jenni arrived in Los Angeles she was not only cast in several productions including a part on the ABC's Soap Opera "Port Charles" but was immediately signed by one of Hollywood's top theatrical and commercial agencies. As of this writing it appears that the Film/TV career of Jenni Steel like the Eveready "Bunny", just keeps on ticking. Show less «
