Jemma Curran began acting with the Mullingar Student Players, performing in several musicals, including Les Miserables and West Side Story. She was a member of Dublin Youth Theatre during her time in college, and performed in many shows with them. She was also in National Youth Theatre's production of 'A Dream Play'in the Peacock Theatre, directed by Jimmy Fay, in 2010. She can next be seen in Conor McMahon's feature film, 'Stitches' in the role of Jenny. She will also be seen in series two of 'Moone Boy' on Sky Atlantic. She has written a one act play, 'September 4th', and co-written a feature film, 'Tangled Alibis'. She is on the 2012 Dublin Theatre Festival's Play On initiative. She received an honours BA in Journalism and French from Dublin Institute of Technology.
