Jem Kai Olsen was born in Izmir , Turkey in 1973. His birth name is Cem Ozgan. In 1991, he graduated from Izmir Ozel Turk Lisesi where had a High School /College diploma. He moved to Istanbul 1992. He studied English Language and Literature, along with American Culture and Drama. He graduated from Istanbul University with a BA Hons Degree in Western Languages.After completing his Military Service in the Turkish Army, he took acting classes following an interest in arts and performing on stage .He settled in the UK in 2004 and became a British Citizen. he has also kept his Turkish Citizenship. He is a dual national.Whilst studying Theatre and Drama Skills at The Theatre Royal Norwich, he worked in many blockbuster films. He studies acting in award winning Identity School of Acting in London as a part-time student and works in Film, TV , Commercial and Cooperate productions at the same time.He has been involved in a number of Feature Films (Wonder Woman 2017, In Darkness 2017, Justice League 2017, Rouge One 2016, Dr Strange 2016, Jason Bourne 2016, Assassins Creed 2016 ), Television Episodes ( Obsession Dark Desires 3, episode 10) , Television Pilot (Guilt 2016) , Netflix ( The Crown 2016 ), Channel 4 (Humans), Itv (The Level), E! He has gained valuable acting and filming experience working in front of and behind the camera in these big productions appearing and working next to greatest movie actors of our time like Bennedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Michael Fassbender, Chris Pine, Matt Damon, Natalie Dormer, Joelyn Richardson, Bennedict Wong, Claudia Harrison and Sir Michael Gambon.
