Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Jean Zarzour is a 30-year veteran performer in TV, Film, Theater, Radio, Dance, Improv and Corporate Communications in the U.S., England, Wales and Italy. Jean moved to New York when she was 17 years old and studied acting at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and the Stella Adler Conservatory. While studying, she was hired as a receptionist for Jim Henson Associates to answer phones, type actor rejection letters, sample marketing merchandise and sign Miss Piggy autographs. It was, by far, the best "real" job she has ever had! Later, Jean worked for Garth Associates (political consultant to Mario Cuomo and the Anderson Presidential Campaign) where she mastered the art of schmoozing politicians.Jean spent 2 years in England. While in London, she worked as a print model, taught dance at 4 popular dance and fitness studios and choreographed fashion shows at Earls Court Exhibition Center.As Owner of Lipschtick, Jean has built a renowned reputation for putting the "Show" in "Business" with customized comedy and Laugh & Learn Workshops( for hundreds of corporations and associations, nationwide since 1989.In 2005, Jean founded The GOT PAY? Organization, an artists advocacy and education resource, and In 2006, founded Find Your Voice-Voice Over Institute, providing Voice Acting classes for TV, Film, Radio, Live Presentations and Voice Over Demo production, nationwide.Early in her film career, Neil Simon wrote the part of Flo especially for Jean in the film version of his play, Lost In Yonkers. As honored and grateful is she was for the role, she may never get over the cruel joke of being cut from the film but left in the credits! What?
