Jean Kinsella is a French director, producer actor and screenwriter. Currently living and working in Los Angeles, he began his career as a comedian, performing in the streets of Paris. He was chosen to be Romeo in William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Thereafter, he booked many similar roles in the plays of great playwrights such as Molière, Miller, Brecht, Musset, and Sand. He also appeared in many short films, French tv shows and feature films such as The One Hundred-foot Journey, Would I lie to You and United Passions.He then started venturing to directing projects in Los Angeles. His first short film was selected at the Cannes Film Festival. He then produced and directed a trailer for a tv series that was optioned by several production companies and was presented at the Aix-les-Bains series festival in France. He has since developed and directed music videos, and short films across France and the USA. He is now developing a feature film about actual human conflicts across the world. 2018 is also the year he decided to go back on stage and movie sets as an actor and has recently been featured in Newsweek and LA Weekly
