Streett holds a California State first class pyrotechnicians license, federal explosive and firearms licenses. He has obtained a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, and is on the Executive Board of the Alliance of Special Effects and Pyrotechnic Operators (ASEPO)Streett is a voting member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (ATAS) and the Visual Effects Society.
