Jayme Allen Schmitt was born in Dyersville, IA to David Schmitt, a correctional officer, and Barbara Schmitt, a retired dispatcher.At a young age, Jayme knew his passion was film-making. One of his earliest memories was performing "The Little Red Riding Hood" at his grandparents house in front of his grandmother which she recorded on an 8mm. Jayme started filming with a JVC VHS recording camera and started making home movies.After switching to digital, he started a YouTube show entitled "The Insane Nerd's 101 in Movies" when he founded DreamScape Reality Productions. Friends like Brooke Fangmann and Juan Zepeda would constantly collaborate with him on the series.At the age of 21, he starred in his first break "Unremarkable" where he met director Crescentia Volz, both of which collaborated on their upcoming project "Black Friday", in which he is producing at the age of 22. He also appeared as an extra in the E! Network show "I Am Cait" during it's second season when the crew made a surprise visit to Dubuque.On his off time, he enjoys watching and studying film (especially the Godzilla series), being with his friends, and just overall enjoying life. He makes a singular goal everyday to make one person smile and another laugh as he claims its such an easy thing to do.He studies at Northeast Iowa Community Collage and plans to transfer to a prestige film school where he will continue to study film-making.
