Jayda Woods is a Canadian actress known for her work in Murder Wall, Designated Survivor, The Wedding Planners, and many more. She was born and raised in Richmond Hill, Ontario, and fell in love with performance and the arts at a young age. As a child, Jayda always loved performing for her family and being the center of attention. She tried many various activities, including ballet and swimming, but it became clear that she was meant to be in the spotlight when she was emcee of her school assembly in grade 2. After that, Jayda was hooked! She immersed herself in the entertainment industry, began acting alongside her mom on stage, and acquired an agent for film, TV, and commercial. In her later years of high school, she was introduced to the technical side of stage, and found that she also had a skill for Stage Management and theatre crew. She went on to attend Sheridan College, where she received a diploma for Technical Production. Jayda thrives on being a well rounded performer and enjoys continuously learning by taking part in different areas of the industry, such as, background acting, production crew jobs and anything else that she can get her hands on! She continues to hone her craft and nurture her love of the arts through classes, experiences, and of course, acting roles.
