Jermanne [jer-meyn] Sentel Perry was born in Saginaw, Michigan. The son of an assembly line machinist father and an artistic mother. By age 5, Jermanne was thrown into the arts and entertainment at an early age, performing at local events and entering his art into local shows, a passion he would carry with him into adulthood. After graduating from high school, Jermanne enrolled at Central State University (Ohio) with the sole intention of joining the university marching band, which he eventually earned the rank of Drum Major. However, his fervency for acting and entertainment never died as he entered corporate America.Jermanne later began taking acting classes at a local studio in Ohio. After working on a few short films and local commercials he then made the decision to quit his job and move to Los Angeles. When he arrived he immediately sought out a training facility and selected the Joanne Baron/D.W. Brown School of Dramatic Arts as his training home studying the art of the Meisner Technique. Jermanne completed the two year prescribed program, in July 2011, as designed by Sanford Meisner. Jermanne soon after auditioned and was selected to be a company member of the Edgemar Theater Group (artistic director: Michelle Danner) through the Edgemar Center for the Arts.Jermanne was recently awarded the opportunity to film with Tony nominated/Emmy award winning Keith David (Platoon, Crash) on an indie feature and was selected as a featured actor on House (S.7/Ep.19.) In addition, Jermanne can be found starring in the stage musical Dreams in Variation set to open September 2011 in Hollywood. Show less «
