Growing up in a dramatic and expressive family, Jaxon was no stranger to entertaining. It wasn't until he was 7, however, that he realized the power that lies in performance. He made his stage debut as Kurt von Trapp in The Sound of Music and through that experience, he developed his insatiable appetite for both music and theatre. After only 2 years, he booked his first TV gig as Dwayne; the dorky and loveable kid next door in My Babysitter's an Alien. Now a seasoned and experienced actor, Jaxon has developed a unique brand and is known to play into his innocence and naivety, portraying the sweet, sensitive, thoughtful young man you would want to bring home to your mother. Delving below the surface, however, Jaxon has an ability to access a profound sadness that he plays with an authenticity that will leave an audience breathless.Jaxon is also a trained dancer, and has received acclaim for his vocal performances throughout the years. He attended the University of British Columbia in the Bachelor's of Music (BMus) program and is a trained classical musician. Additionally, he is a certified yoga instructor and has made good use of his free time by experiencing cultures in many parts of the world; his favourites to date being Malawi, Morocco, and Turkey. In the near future Jaxon looks forward to telling more stories and creating space for his audience to experience new things. He feels incredibly grateful for the experiences he has had thus far on his journey and can only look forward to the amazing things to come. Show less «
