Javier Prusky, born Javier Prusky Grinberg, was born in Montevideo, Uruguay to Alberto Bernardo Prusky, an orthopedic surgeon, and Susana Grinberg, a hematologist and energetic therapist. He has one older brother, Gary Prusky.When his mom fell in love after getting divorced, they relocated to Atlanta, Georgia where he finished his secondary education. Prior to heading to university, he trained at The Company Acting Studio in Atlanta for three years.Javier wanted to be an actor since the age of three, but he wanted to pursue university studies and learn the technique of acting before pursuing it professionally.In 2016, he graduated from Syracuse University with a BFA in Acting. Javier also had many other grateful opportunities to develop his craft. He went to clown school in Paris, France to study under the well-renowned Philippe Gaulier. He studied classical text at The Globe Theatre in London, UK, where he got the opportunity to perform in the Globe Theatre as Romeo in Romeo and Juliet. He also studied On-Camera Technique at The Actor's Space in Barcelona, Spain. During his studies at Syracuse, he has had the opportunity to study and work in both LA and NYC.In 2016, Javier has made his first appearances in TV in Daytime Divas (VH1), Homicide Hunter (Investigation Discovery), and Fatal Attraction (TV One) as well as two national commercials and one international commercial. He also has worked in independent films and web-series, such as Bound, Campus Crimes, and Kaleidoscope.In 2017, Javier has continued to make TV appearances for Halt and Catch Fire (AMC).Beyond acting, Javier enjoys anything involving nature and family. Whether it be hiking, SCUBA Diving, or rappelling, he feels at home with nature. His family, especially his mom, mean everything to him.
