Born in Gastonia, NC in 1977, raised in Knoxville TN. Graduated from South Doyle High School in 1996. Joined the United States Marine Corps in 1996 as an infantryman, and transferred to the air-wing as an Ordnanceman on FA-18 Hornets, serving with VMFA 312 on-board the USS Enterprise and USS Truman. Went to PanAm International Flight Academy, Ft Pierce, FL in 2001 and became a commercial pilot and flight instructor. Married to his wife, Leslie Vandergriff in 2005, and moved back to Knoxville in 2011, where he began flying for American Eagle Airlines (American Airlines). In 2011, he also joined Knox By Night Productions, (founded by executive producer, Chris Rogers) to start filming sketch comedy skits for YouTube. Jason became a skit writer, actor, assistant producer, and assistant editor for the group. In 2016, the Knox By Night group had a radio show, airing Sunday evenings on local radio station 103.9 WOZO. The radio show ended in 2017, and The Knox By Night Show moved to a television show airing on CTV Knoxville. In 2018, Jason began being cast in a number of productions from Jupiter Entertainment. Jupiter Entertainment character roles include: Snapped (Oxygen Channel) ~ Karen Sanchez episode (as Karen's brother).
