Jason Stanly was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and studied at LSU. As a former member of the U.S.A. National Weightlifting Team, he competed on the international stage at the Junior World Championships in 1989. Making the transition from athletics to the financial world, he then went on to begin a career in the financial services industry and started his own firm of the JBS Financial Group, in 1996. With a flare to entertain, Jason's lifelong passion of acting was rekindled with the booming film industry in Louisiana. After a few of his corporate clients had featured him in their Internet and website ads, he was noticed by several casting companies. Jason then went on become involved in feature films with featured background roles and has subsequently worked with some of the biggest names in Hollywood. Most recently, his supporting principal roles include "The Starving Games" and "The Monkey's Paw" and he can also be seen in numerous commercials. Show less «
