Jason Harley grew up in Montreal. In his early 20s, he studied Method acting at Josa Maule's Montreal School of Performing Arts under Dale Hayes. He starred in a number of theatrical productions and made his on-screen debut on the sitcom Student Bodies (1997) as one of the "Hottest Guys in Edison High" pin-up calendar boys in the episode Student Bodies: The Boys of Edison (1998).Around the same time, Jason was admitted to law school at Queen's University and focused on his legal education and law career. Many years later, he continues to be a successful litigation lawyer in Ontario, Canada where he resides with his wife and their two daughters.After a lengthy hiatus, Jason realized he had never shaken the acting bug that had bitten him in his youth and decided to pursue his passion once again.Since returning to acting, Jason has starred in the films Too Soon (2020), A Double-Edged Sword, Suburban Intrigue (2019) and others. Jason plays the role of "Warren Parrish," a leader in the early Latter Day Saint movement, in the upcoming feature film "Witnesses," due in theaters in summer 2021.Jason is also passionate about writing. His 2020 screenplay "Pandora's Adversaries" was well received by a number of screenplay competitions. During the Covid pandemic, Jason shot (on his cell phone) and acted in Pandora's Adversaries (Quarantine Demo) (2020), a very modest two-minute "teaser" short based on his screenplay's opening scene.Jason continuously hones his acting craft, studying under Mike Migliara, founder of Your Casting Academy of Film & Performing Arts. Jason has also taken workshops taught by Ron Leach, Paul Weber and Patrick Baca.
