Originally from South Florida, Chef Jarod "Roilty" Farina had early beginnings preparing infused foods and treats. In 2011 Jarod was making high quality cannabis extracts and decided to enter a competition in Los Angeles called the Secret Cup. After traveling to Los Angeles and competing in the cup he was awarded 1st place and was offered a job making extracts in Colorado. This was the beginning of a new journey for the aspiring chef.Jarod had a loving relationship with cannabis since his young teens, he also always had a love for different types cuisine. The flavors, styles, and techniques really intrigued him. Over time his love for cooking and cannabis finally came together. Making sweets was always a go to for the chef, we all started out eating brownies and spacecakes. New Years Eve 2015, Chef Roilty, decided to throw an infused dinner party, where literally everything was infused using micro dosing techniques.To say the least, the dinner was a hit. Shortly following this, Chef Roilty entered and won the High Times Top Cannabis Chef in Las Vegas. This started a snowball effect and now Chef Roilty is Internationally known for his culinary styles and infusion techniques.After winning High Times Top Cannabis Chef, Roilty started throwing private dinners coined "Dine With Roilty". These events have been very successful and have sold out each year since they began in April, 2017. Chef Roilty also has been featured on TV, shooting with the cast of Bravo Networks Southern Charm, as well as being featured on NBC Chicago News. Internet outlets he has appeared on include Thrillist: Send Foodz and many others.The last few years, Chef Roilty has traveled the world eating at as many fine dining establishments that he possibly could. Meeting Chefs, picking up techniques and flavor profiles, as well as adding style to his plates. On his journeys he has made great relationships with the chefs at these establishments and has even been invited and spent time cooking in some of the most decorated kitchens in the industry. Most recently Chef spent two weekends cooking in Las Vegas's only restaurant to ever be awarded 3 Michelin Stars, Joel Robuchon.Chef has combined all his knowledge of cannabis with his ever growing passion for the culinary world, into this perfect synergy of infused dining.Look out for Chef Roilty on Discovery Networks new show CHOPPED420 as it debuts on April 20th, 2021.
