Jared Voss is a filmmaker, actor, and musician whose work spans narrative films, documentaries, episodic television, theatre, TV and radio commercials, and international tours. He studied filmmaking at Boston University before changing course and earning a BFA in Acting, with a minor in Music. Since then, he's worked extensively in all of his fields in both New York City and Boston.As a filmmaker and video producer, Jared has worked extensively as a director, producer, writer, editor, and videographer, on large and small scale projects, including short, feature, and documentary films, as well as educational, promotional, and advocacy videos. He founded LoudSue Films and provides production and postproduction services through VossCo MultiMedia.As an actor, Jared has had principal roles in a variety of film and television projects, including The Invention of Lying, starring Jennifer Garner and Ricky Gervais (who also directed), and the Showtime series Brotherhood, playing investigative-reporter Roger Pullmocker. He's starred in a number of independent films, as well as numerous TV and radio commercials, for clients including Bank of America, the Boston Bruins, Marriott, and Toys'R'Us. Jared is a member of SAG-AFTRA.New York theatre credits include the title roles in MacBeth and Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, Iokanaan in Salome, and Burton in Burn This. In Boston, Jared originated the role of Long Jack in the world premiere of Israel Horovitz's Captains and Courage. Other stage credits include the Pirate King in Pirates of Penzance, Malvolio in Twelfth Night, Longaville in Love's Labours Lost, and Perchik in Fiddler on the Roof. Jared has also performed with ImprovBoston and Boston Comedy Theater, and is a member of Actors' Equity Association.Jared's music career has also been quite diverse, as a guitarist, songwriter, singer, and composer. He has performed and recorded with several bands and as a solo artist, in genres ranging from folk-rock to hard rock to progressive rock to punk metal.
