Jan Ohrstrom was born in Arlington Heights, Illinois on September 28, 1981 and has been a pro wrestler since the age of 16. He was trained at the legendary School of Hard Knocks in San Bernadino, California under the mentorship of Jesse Hernandez. He proceeded to wrestle all around the Southwest United States and Mexico and obtained his first role in a movie as Al Katrazz in "Backyard Dogs".After the attacks of 9-11, Jan decided to put his dream of being a WWE wrestler on hold and enlisted into the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. He proceeded to wrestle there as well until he was given orders to deploy to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom II with the 1st Infantry Division. During the deployment, he experienced combat as a 50 cal machine gunner as well as getting promoted to the rank of Sergeant and was nominated for the Bronze Star. He was honorably discharged in 2006 and went back to pro wrestling and college.Jan continued to wrestle all around the Southwest United States and has had a few tryouts with World Wrestling Entertainment. Each tryout resulted him not being selected and returned to the grind of the independent wrestling scene while getting into Veteran causes such as PTSD awareness and the 22 Suicides a day epidemic.Jan was a part of the Valhalla Club documentary, a film showing the readjustment issues from war and how the pro wrestling lifestyle was a positive outlet for him and other Veterans dealing with the demons of war.
