He fought top contenders including Mike Tyson, Mike Weaver, Earnie Shavers, Pinklon Thomas, Greg Page, Tim Witherspoon, Carl Williams, Gerrie Coetzee, Tyrell Biggs, Frank Bruno, Evander Holyfield, and Tommy Morrison.
