Jamee Natella is a producer. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, she attended the Chicago Academy for the Arts. In 1998, Jamee moved to Los Angeles when she was 17. Transitioning from acting to behind the camera her journey began working at a variety of different production companies as well as local film studios (Warner Brothers, Touchstone Pictures). It was at this time that Jamee gained most of her knowledge about the entertainment industry and began to develop strong relationships within the entertainment sector.In 1995, Benicio Del Toro approached Jamee to Executive Produce his directorial debut short film "Submission", which went on to earn an official selection at the International Venice Film Festival in 1997. The success of "Submission" led to new opportunities for Jamee and she was approached to be head Producer for the critically acclaimed Japanese talk show, "Teatime" for Tokyo Broadcasting System.After many years of living and working in Asia, Jamee gained extensive experience in both the Japanese and Los Angeles markets. This experience led her to embark on creating a global production company; Blueyed Pictures, opened its first office in Japan in 1998, and has since opened local offices in London (1999) and it's Head Quarters in Los Angeles (2001).Since its creation, Jamee and her Blueyed team have produced award winning work for advertising agencies ATTIK, FCB, BBDO, JWT, Denzu Japan and for major clients like Virgin Enterprises, Nestle', Pioneer Electronics, "got milk?", Toyota and Pepsi products to name a few. She has been acknowledged and accepted prestigious awards from CLIO, Telly, FWA, Webby, Cannes Lions and the NY Festival's International TV, Cinema & Radio Advertising Awards.Jamee's success has taken her all over the world and has allowed her to continue to produce projects that she loves.Jamee Natella's Feature film credits include, "Chilly Christmas" & "Opposite Day" for Anchor Bay Entertainment, "Tekken" for Crystal Sky and Anchor Bay, "Baby Geniuses" 3, 4 & 5 for Crystal Sky and Brockwell/McNamera Entertainment, as well as "Love is the Drug" for Alpine pictures.Jamee is currently in pre-production on her next feature film for Eone Entertainment. In addition, her new children's books series, "I Am Sam" for Penguin Young Readers will be released at the end of the year. Show less «
