Jalen Dixon is a Los Angeles-based actor from Las Vegas. Jalen began entertaining for family and friends at the tender age of 5 after receiving a toy microphone. He spent much of adolescence acting out his own imagination.As a young aspiring actor, Jalen auditioned for K.O. Knudson, an acclaimed performing arts middle school inner-city Las Vegas. The entrance audition would be his first-ever audition and his first taste of failure and nerves. Needless to say, he did not make admission through audition. Luckily, there were several positions left open to a lottery, and Jalen was granted a final space. The middle school curriculum was a rigorous three years consisting of in-depth training and extravagant productions amongst exceptional talent. When the 8th-grade awards arrived, Jalen received the prestigious Principal's Acting Award.After a failed partnership with a Las Vegas commercial agency, Jalen set his acting career aside to focus on education in high school through college, but throughout the idea was always on his mind. After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Community Health Sciences from the University of Nevada, Reno, Jalen returned back to Las Vegas. Jalen was working at the Mandarin Oriental where he met an established film director that reignited his passion and referred him to the top acting class in Las Vegas. It was there where Jalen's career was forever changed. Adam Hill's Craft Acting Studio was a challenging yet stimulating training.
