Jake Martin is an American director, actor, and first A.D. born on Nantucket Ma. March 2nd 1980. From a young age he has had a love for film and was inspired by his parents to follow his dreams and encouraged him to act in high school plays and musicals. After moving to New York in 2003 Jake started working in the business as a intern at Cabin Creek Films, a New York based production company started by Oscar winning director Barbara Kopple. After leaving Cabin Creek he began working as a production assistant on films, T.V., and Commercials(Union and Non-Union). over the past five years he has worked as a first and second A.D. on a variety of projects ranging from Award winning Features(Newly Weeds) and Shorts(Ey Pari Kojai) to Commercial's (Joe Fresh, Vimeo, Pizza Hut).
