Jack Martin is a Sydney-based actor, writer and musician.Jack's breakout performance came in the title role in Matthew Holmes' highly anticipated biopic The Legend of Ben Hall. It has since won the 'Cinema Australia Audience Choice Award 2017', been named the 'Best Foreign Western' by True West Magazine USA, received a Bronze ACS Award for Cinematography and the music score has been officially short-listed for Academy Award nomination.Jack completed his full-time acting training with some of LA's most notable coaches through The Howard Fine Acting Studio. He has also undertaken further training through both The National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) open program and The Australian Film and Television Academy (TAFTA).He is also a dedicated writer and musician, having toured with several bands as a self-taught pianist and guitarist. His writing projects range from free-verse to short stories, screenplays and cartoons.Earning widespread praise for his subtle and authentic portrayal of Ben Hall, Jack is poised to reprise his role as the infamous bushranger in the two companion films The Legend of Frank Gardiner and The Legend of John Vane, set for release in 2018 and 2019 respectively, and has recently been named 'one to watch' by Who Magazine.
