Jack Holmes is an actor, playwright, screenwriter, composer and pianist. Holmes holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film/Drama from the California College of the Arts. He also studied to be a composer under the teacher/composer Stanley Wolfe at the Juilliard School in New York City.Jack is the screenwriter of the independent feature film Live at the Foxes Den (2013). He also played one of the lead roles, that of the alcoholic cocktail lounge pianist Chad Barrows. Live at the Foxes Den (2013) was filmed in Los Angeles in the summer of 2011. Also starring Jackson Rathbone, Jocelin Donahue, Carly Craig, Caity Lotz, Elliott Gould and Pooch Hall.Cesar Chavez (2014) marks the second time Jack portrayed Robert F. Kennedy. Holmes is the author of the solo play "RFK" in which he portrayed the late Robert F. Kennedy. His New York Off-Broadway performance earned him a nomination by The Outer Critics Circle for Outstanding Solo Performance, as well as a nomination by the Drama League for Distinguished Performance. Jack's performance as RFK was chosen by New York's Backstage Magazine as one of the twelve "Best Performances of 2005" in New York theater in their year-end issue. He was also nominated for an IRNE Award for Best Solo Performance In a Large Theater by the Independent Reviewers of New England for his performance in Boston."RFK" is published by Dramatists Play Service.As a composer and pianist, Jack composed and orchestrated the score to Live at the Foxes Den (2013) He also composed the music and lyrics to three original songs which are performed in the movie: "Pour Me Another Dream", "Let's Take A Trip" and "The Time Of My Life". Holmes plays the piano on all of the songs in the movie with the exception of "Let's Take A Trip".Jack's three original songs for Live at the Foxes Den (2013) made the official eligibility list for the Academy Awards.The Live at the Foxes Den (2013) soundtrack was released in December 2013 on Lakeshore Records. Featured on the soundtrack of Live at the Foxes Den (2013) is the late Austin Peralta. Austin Peralta (1990-2012) was a brilliant jazz pianist and the son of filmmaker Stacy Peralta. He plays on the orchestral score to Live at the Foxes Den (2013) as well as playing the piano part on the song "Let's Take A Trip".In May/June of 2012, Jack played Robert F. Kennedy in the film Cesar Chavez (2014), directed by Diego Luna. Starring Michael Peña, Rosario Dawson, America Ferrera, John Malkovich, and Wes Bentley.
