Ivan was born in Villach, Austria on October 11, 1945, by a Ukrainian mother and father. He spent 14 years of his childhood in Venezuela, S.A., then moved to Maryland, USA. He moved around when he was a child before settling down in Baltimore where he stayed until after his graduation from Patterson High School in 1965. He pursued acting, music, and numerous sports as a young man.After High School, he was recruited into the military at the onset of the Viet-Nam conflict and while in the military lived in numerous locations during that time. He is an honor graduate with a B.S. in Business from Morgan State University in 1974, Baltimore, MD. He did not pursue his life long dream of acting until after his retirement with the government.In 2003 he moved to Florida. Ivan sought out local film productions, many from the University of Tampa's film school to sharpen his filming skills. Ivan has worked either behind the scenes Producer, 1st Assistant Director, Director, Script Supervisor, Production Manager, and other crew positions on more than 14 short films, 3 feature length films, and 1 commercial.He has a varied background that has helped in his artistic endeavors and with small parts in films.
