Ivan Gordillo was born in Mexico City in 1970. He studied drama at the evening school of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in N.Y. in 1999. Ivan Gordillo was born in Mexico City in 1970. He studied drama at the evening school of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in N.Y. in 1999. Since then, as an actor, Ivan has performed in many theatre plays and has participated in theatre festivals in Mexico, South America, and Spain. He has also written three plays, two in Spanish and one in English-Dutch, and has directed theatre groups in Mexico and Colombia. Ivan moved to Belgium in 2017. In the same year, he performed the role of Schmendiman in the play: Picasso at the Lapin Agile by Steve Martin with the American Theatre Company in Brussels. In Ghent, he has worked with Victoria Deluxe theatre company as an actor and theatre teacher. In 2019 he was part of the cast of the short film The Mole directed by Ambrose Smoke in Brussels. In 2020, Ivan wrote and directed his play 'Time' which premiered during the Mestizo Arts Wipcoop festival in Ghent. In 2021 he was cast for the fourth season of Mocro Maffia, a Dutch TV series in which he appears in two episodes. In May 2022 he was was cast in the Netflix feature film The Claus Family 3 as Enrico.
