Ioana Dimitriu is a young Film, Stage, Television and Voice actress. She was born on October 31st, 2005 in Bucharest, Romania.Ioana discovered her acting talent and beautiful singing voice as early as age 5, when she was asked to represent her kindergarten in a regional performing arts contest. At 6, she was already one of the favorite pupils of professor Virgil Constantin, one of the leading acting teachers in Romania.Just a few years later, Ioana attended the classes of the prestigious Mandragora Movies Film Academy and is well-versed in the Ivana Chubbuck acting method.She is a member of the award-winning youth theater company "JOY" and could not conceive her life without the joy of discovering new characters through acting, music and dance.Her television work includes collaborations with Saga Film, HB Music Production and Studioset, the latter as part of UNICEF's global awareness campaign "Hidden in Plain Sight".Voice-over is another of her favorite activities. Under the inspired direction of Oana Avram of MediaPro and Andrei Marinescu of Fast Production, Ioana has been exploring her playful side in cartoon dubbing.When she's not acting, Ioana likes to go roller-skating, ride her bike or play video games. She's also a good swimmer and skier. She loves school, enjoys reading and her favorite books are "The Little Prince", by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer", by Mark Twain and "Black Beauty", by Anna Sewell.Her older sister, Emilia (12), is also a talented actress and model. Ioana and Emilia have been working together on the Romanian version of the television series "Clarence" for Cartoon Network, as well as on set for the feature film "Selfie 69".
