Son of Yulian Panich and Ludmila Panich. Father of Anastasia Panich and Maximilian Panich Immigrated at age 14 to Israel then USA. After a brief stay in Germany, graduated from Ampleforth College in England. BA History from University of London was followed by two years with Lee Strassberg until the latter's death in 1982.
