Originating from Moscow, Russia, Igor began his career in the performing arts after successfully auditioning for the Moscow Open Student Theatre at the age of 19. After compulsory military service in Russia, he travelled to Australia and began freelancing as an actor whilst completing a Bachelor of Business degree. During this time, Igor started taking classes studying Stanislavsky Method Acting and the Michael Chekhov Acting Technique under Natela Dzuliashvili. He went on to graduate from the Academy of Film, Theatre & Television in 2021 where he starred in various productions including Bertolt Brecht's 'Mother Courage and Her Children'; Shakespeare's 'Richard II', directed by Sean O'Riordan; and Luigi Pirandello's 'Six Characters in Search of an Author', directed by Anthony Skuse.Igor has a background in martial arts, including Traditional Kung Fu and Brazilian Ju-Jitsu. He performed his own stunts in 'Slippery When Wet', directed by Karan Bawa; 'The Holy Grail', directed by San Koh; and 'Watch', directed by Patrick Newall. Other notable action performances include playing the role of Uri in the film 'The Spy Who Never Dies', directed by Corey Pearson.Igor has recently starred in the play 'Breaking The Code' by Hugh Whitemore, directed by Anthony Skuse.
