Ignacio Torre was born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon (Mexico). At an early age his family moved to Guadalajara, where he studied piano and singing. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from the Universidad del Valle de Atemajac. During his college years he found his calling for acting when a teacher invited him to join a local theater company. Through the years Ignacio developed a passion for the stage, and in 1996 he moved to Mexico City to try his legs in nationwide theater companies. Since then he has been cast in more than 40 plays as an actor, pianist, composer and sound designer, and has appeared in more than 20 telenovelas. In 2002 he studied to become an Mexican Sign Language interpreter for the Deaf in a musical play about the life of Saint Francis of Assisi, and in 2009 he recorded the English version audio book of "Heart, Diary of a Child". Born in a bilingual home, he learned English from a young age and he is currently an English-Spanish Teacher and Translator, as well as a dialogue coach -in both languages- for several films and TV ads.
