Ho-Jung (pronounced ho-joon) is an actress with immense talent, bold style and a colorful spirit. A painter and a performer, she embodies the dynamic, eclectic spirit that is today's actress.Ho-Jung was born in Seoul, South Korea and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. She has always been a creative, expressive person, showing an early interest in fashion and an eye for fine art and craft, but it was not until later in life that she decided to pursue acting.Were it not for a chance meeting with legendary acting teacher and director Gene Frankel, Ho-Jung might have never stepped into the spotlight. She devoted herself to five years of study, steadily unfolding her talent.It wasn't long before she was winning leads in Off-Broadway shows and booking indie films. Since arriving in LA, Ho-Jung's flair for drama and comedy has kept her in the gaze of the industry's top casting directors.Making her studio film debut she landed a major supporting role opposite Samuel L. Jackson, Kerry Washington and Patrick Wilson in Lakeview Terrace. Ho-Jung found herself being directed by a personal favorite, Neil LaBute. She followed that by working with Argentina-born Alejandro Chomski in the indie feature A Beautiful Life, Get Smart and most recently Stevie D. Television credits include Gang Related, Protect and Serve, My Generation, The Gilmore Girls, Talk Show With Spike Feresten and Love Without Borders, shot on location in Moscow, Russia.Most recently, Ho-Jung starred in Jean Cocteau's The Human Voice at the Elephant Theater in Los Angeles. She got rave reviews for her work in what is widely known as one of the most challenging one-woman monologues to perform. She remains a passionate artist and constantly studies the acting craft. Her teachers in LA include Sharon Chatten, Milton Katselas, Catlin Adams, and Guy Camilleri at RAW acting studio.Ho-Jung is a member of SAG-AFTRA, AEA, and East West Players.
