Hess Jerry Wesley is an actor, producer and songwriter born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti on January 8, 1983.The Port-au-Prince native moved to the United States, at a young age, with his family. His father, a pastor, believed that the new home would create a better opportunity for the family. Determined to build on the 'American Dream', Wesley focused his efforts on athletics. During high school, Wesley gained much success on the football field, basketball court and boxing ring. Beyond the sports world, Wesley was also fine-tuning his performing arts skills, gaining leads in local plays and musicals. His love for music grew from his active role in his father's church choir, while living in Miami, FL.While studying at Florida International University (FIU) Wesley quickly transformed his passion for the arts into a career by gaining a degree in Performing Arts and Dance. While in school, he starred in various productions, such as Balm in Gilead, Inspecting Carol and Hair. After graduation, Wesley quickly took to the spotlight. The accomplished actor has already secured leading roles in many independent films, T.V. Pilots and various national and regional commercials. In addition to acting, this multi-talented songwriter continues to transform real life emotion into beautiful lyrics. Gaining inspiration from his past and present, Wesley looks to continue working with major recording artist and writers. His resume already includes collaborations with "According To You" songwriter Steve Diamond, "There Goes My Baby" producer Gregg Pagani and many others.Hess now lives in Los Angeles, where he continues to hone in and improve his acting abilities studying with proven coaches like Lesly Kahn and Howard Fine while continuing to write with and for various artists and produce music videos for mostly independent artists.
