Born and raised in Cleveland, OH in a very loving polish neighborhood, Henrick strapped on his dancing shoes and got his polka on at the early age of three. His first 'gig' was imitating the legendary Dick Van Dyke as Bert in the classic film Mary Poppins while watching it in his family's living room. Since then, he has been in love with the craft ever since.When he moved to a new neighborhood in Ohio, Henrick quickly began learning many new hobbies and practices. He signed up for gymnastics while being taught piano by one of the staff workers there. He practiced juggling thanks to a gift of three bean bag balls and a 'how to' book. Magic soon followed as well as many trips to the magic shop. He studied photography and the mechanics of film at his Nordonia High School. While there, he was part of the Swimming and Diving team as well as the Sprint and Pole Vault. Practiced ballroom dancing as well as practiced multiple martial arts for 14 years including Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, and Judo. He also became a proficient fencer in Shaker Heights, home town of Paul Newman. Though the drama department is where he truly thrived thru plays, musicals, as well as Shakespeare.He attended The Ohio State University and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering. Through his time as a student, he kept up with his passion by taking acting and dancing courses, voice lessons, participating in short films for both independent and student filmmakers, and being very active in the prestigious dance program at the buckeye university. He has performed on their stage for young undergraduates as well as graduate students, and has done many pieces at arts festivals.When he returned back to Cleveland, he worked full time as a Lab Technician at a local metal plant. Seeing that this was not his true calling, Henrick quickly began looking for acting work in his community. He was accepted into the Cleveland Shakespeare Company in Two Gentlemen of Verona and Measure For Measure. He also worked steadily thru many independent films. From there, with the money he saved, he moved to New York City where he found The Tom Todoroff Conservatory and studied diligently thru their superb teachers well as professionals from Broadway, television, and film.An incredibly versatile performer with a strong work ethic, Henrick is able to do classics such as Shakespeare to modern day greats such as Aaron Sorkin. He is also very talented in voice work and has done voice overs, narrations and cartoons in many accents and dialects.In addition to his credits as a performer, Henrick has applied his engineering skills to film and stage and also directs, writes, choreographs, and does photography.
