Heidi Michelle Thomas was born in Vancouver, on the 5th of May, 1975. From a young age she began training in the disciplines of acting, singing and dance. Heidi landed her first feature film role as a teenager in 'Strange and Rich', co-starring opposite Nathan Fillion. Other film credits in her youth include 'The True Meaning of Girls', SEG/ME/NTS, and 'Armored Fury'. Heidi then went on to further hone her talents at RDC Theatre School, and Sheridan's Music Theatre program. Heidi followed her passion for music and went on to front bands throughout North and South America, Africa, Asia, Bermuda, Europe, India, and the Middle East. She was also a Featured Vocalist on several Cruise Ships. She has opened for Trooper and shared the stage alongside Glass Tiger. Heidi was invited on a United Nations peacekeeping troupe tour; appearing in a tribute to Madonna and Marilyn Monroe. Heidi released her first album in 1999 entitled 'Goddess & Creamcheese', followed by a music video for the single 'u grab me a colour'. Heidi has appeared on such television shows as on The Dragons Den, and in 2 Episodes of Zalman King's Showcase Drama 'Body Language'. She received critical reviews and acclaim for her portrayal of 'Rose' in the Musical 'Gypsy', 'Paulette' in 'Legally Blonde', 'Velma Vontussle' in 'Hairspray, and ' The Narrator' in The Rocky Horror Show in Toronto. Heidi collaborated on the original musical 'Kinky Kabaret' and launched a well-received one-woman show called "FIRED!". Heidi presently lives and works in Toronto. She continues to work in Film and Television. Her body of work includes the hit television series Haunted Hospitals, Hotel Paranormal, My Paranormal Nightmare, Fear thy Neighbor, and Haunted Case Files. She is currently in production in Principal Roles of several Indie Shorts- Cancelled, Animal Appetites, Grief. Show less «
