It all began in Los Angeles, the world capital of entertainment and legendary incarnation of the American Dream. The history of the future "Lucky Girl" alias Heather Elizabeth Parisi, starts here. Born January 27, 1960 in Hollywood. The genius of dance, a professional dancer whose grandparents were born in Italy. Heather started to take her first dance lessons when she was only two years old. When she was 12 years old, she was so talented that she was awarded numerous scholarships from the "San Francisco Ballet" and by '"American Ballet Theatre" in New York, noticed by Mikhail Baryshnikov, Heather continued to collect prizes and awards until the age of 18. AS IN A MOVIE In 1978 at 18, Heather made her first trip overseas to have some holiday in Italy. As it happens in a movie, two days before returning home, she was noticed in a nightclub in Rome by a choreographer and a few months later, was launched as the "Prima Ballerina" in the TV show called "Luna Park". She became an unbelievable success. Public and critics, all agreed that she was talented, sexy, full of energy and with an irresistible American accent. Since then, newspapers and magazines started competing to get her on their covers. The consecration as a TV Entertainer, singer/dancer is with the show "Fantastico" on Saturday Night, Prime Time. She will be the protagonist of the show for five editions. FANTASTIC 80 During these years Heather worked side by side, with all the most famous Italian artists like Roberto Benigni, Luciano Pavarotti, Beppe Grillo, Carla Fracci, Adriano Celentano, Raimondo Vianello, Sandra Mondaini, Raffaele Paganini, Milva, Nino Manfredi, Renato Zero, Michele Placido, Ornella Muti, Massimo Boldi , Paolo Villaggio, Christian de Sica, Lino Banfi, Corrado, Mike Bongiorno, Pippo Baudo...the list goes on and on. She was a protagonist together with The New York City Ballet at the Festival of Nervi, with incredible success. In 1986, she debuted at the Spoleto Festival, an event that brings together big international names in classical and contemporary dance. Misha Van Hoeke, Daniel Ezralow, Alessandra Ferri, ISO (Momix), Elisabetta Terabust, Vladimir Devrianko, Julio Bocca, Vassiliev. Heather became so famous, that all the major Italian companies wanted her as testimonial: Fiat, Parmalat, De Cecco, Findus, Ferrero, Standa, Bassetti and Acqua Ferrarelle. Heather accumulates one success after another. And not just on TV. "Disco Bambina" her first record, remained at the top of the charts at Number 1, for over 2 months, winning her first Gold record. She obtained the same award two more times with "Crilù" and "Cicale". She has interpreted many records and CD's during her years in Europe. BEYOND THE DANCE She loves fashion and is sought by top designers, who think that dressing her, the clothes are destined to become works of art. Gianni and Donatella Versace dressed her for every appearance on TV throughout 1988 to 1991, plus one of their legendary "couture dresses", is displayed in a famous museum in New York. In 1991 Valentino chose to dress Heather as the only television personality. And then there are Giorgio Armani, Alberta Ferretti and Roberto Cavalli. In 1992 Heather worked for one year in Spain. Heather had also a few experiences in the theatre. She acted in a the musical called "Women of pleasure" by Barbara Alberti, with Marisa Berensen, Clorinne Clery, Anna Kanakis, Carmen Russo and Franco Oppini, then she was in a show which did the box office record of the season in Italy called "Letto a tre piazza". In 1998 the American film director Michael Hoffman wants her to play the wife of Nick Bottom, interpreted by Kevin Kline, in "Midnight Summer's Dream" starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Kevin Kline, Calista Flockhart, Rupert Everett and Sophie Marceau. The following year, she did the musical "Lightning Strikes" directed by Daniele Sala. NEW CHALLENGES Like many an eclectic and creative artists, Heather has always loved writing. In 1997 she began writing her first film script inspired autobiography entitled "Passepartout". Then she began to study filmography in Milano. In 2009 Heather Parisi created her own blog. Heather has been worked several years on preparing her first movie "Blind Maze", first writing the story, then the screen play, then directing the movie which is totally produced by her and her husband's company.
