Heather was born in Olivia, Minnesota, but was raised in the small town of Fairfax. There she graduated high school and afterward moved to Scottsdale, Arizona. She attended community college where she studied film making and acting. After three years there she became a part of her first feature film, Kids in American and shortly after, moved to California to pursue her acting career.
