Known in the entertainment world as "HASPOP," Hassan El Hajjami has spent many years perfecting his craft as a prominent creative director, choreographer and dancer. He is most recognized for his previous role in the critically acclaimed production The Beatles(TM) LOVE(TM), where he performed more than 1,400 shows as the iconic "Walrus." Before joining the legendary Cirque du Soleil® production in 2005, the French-Moroccan artist spent many years traveling the world with Kafig Company and Pockemon Crew, astounding audiences with his unique and inspirational talents. After four years performing as The Walrus in The Beatles(TM) LOVE(TM), he became an artistic director for Cirque du Soleil events and continued to put forward his various initiatives in the entertainment world. In 2010, El Hajjami was a semi-finalist on the fifth season of America's Got Talent and a finalist on the fifth season of La France a un Incroyable Talent, proving he is one of the most talented international performers in the world. In 2011, El Hajjami appeared in various TV shows including Beat the Best, Arabs Got Talent, Istanbul Cabaret Show, La Meilleure Danse. In 2012, he became the Choreographer and Judge on the French TV show Star Academy. In 2013 through 2015 being the Artistic Director of the first Cirque du Soleil nightclub LIGHT, El Hajjami worked with world-renowned personalities and brands such as Nicky Romero, Alesso, Skrillex, Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, Beats by Dre, Dreamworks, iHeartRadio, David Guetta, Baauer Studio B and Moment Factory.Today, Hajjami is taking on a vital role in addressing one of the world's most important causes-safe and sustainable water access-by assuming the position of artistic director for the fourth annual One Night for ONE DROP imagined by Cirque du Soleil. This year's show is based on his own personal story. When visiting his grandmother in Morocco he realized that she truly had to walk for water every day as they had no running water in the village. It had a profound effect on him when he realized how fortunate he was back at home in France. This stark contrast is the basis of this very personal and touching performance. Show less «
