Later in 2017, Sage will appear on television in Seth MacFarlane's dramedy for Fox, Orville (2017).She was born Halston Jean Schrage in Los Angeles, California, to Lenny and Tema Schrage, and has two younger siblings, Max and Kate. In addition to her acting credits, Sage rode horses for eight years and is an award-winning equestrian. She possesses a great love for writing and was the editor of her school newspaper. Sage broke into modeling at the age of fourteen, when she realized she had a passion for acting.She guest-starred on Nickelodeon's Victorious (2010) and Bucket & Skinner's Epic Adventures, and starred as Brianna in the Jon Kasdan-directed teen drama film, The First Time (2012), opposite Britt Robertson, which premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival.
