Gwyn's family had a habit of moving to where work could be more easily found and where the trees were the tallest. Her love of the outdoors and especially the trees continues to this day. If you ask Gwyn where she grew up, she will tell you, "The entire I-5 corridor!" but she now lives north of Portland, Oregon on her own five acres of heaven and lots of room for family, animals, music and fun!All that moving around has given Gwyn a wide variety of experiences but her life was changed the most by two major events. The first was being called in to work as an office production assistant on the film "Rescue Me". Suddenly, film was alive, vibrant and she wanted to be a part of that world! Working with that professional crew, the stunt people that she met and the entire experience gave her an insight that she would spend the next twenty years trying to get back to.The second major event was her enlistment in the United States Marine Corps. Here Gwyn learned what true dedication, leadership, teamwork and reliability really mean. It is true, once you have been a Marine, it will stay with you forever and Gwyn is no exception. Honest, trustworthy and absolutely dedicated to the goal at hand - are principles that Gwyn incorporates into absolutely every aspect of her being.Gwyn returned to the acting industry with a renewed passion in 2013. Having earned a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre Arts from Western Oregon University in 2004 and overcoming the many physical challenges brought on by her service in the Marine Corps she is now healthy, strong and ready to learn and experience as much as life can offer!
