Gus Lanza is a trans-masculine independent producer whose focus is on centering the stories of LGBTQI+ communities and other historically marginalized groups. Since 2016, Gus has been a producer and the operations manager for the independent production company, BenDeLaCreme Presents, which is helmed by superstar Drag Queen producer/writer/director, BenDeLaCreme. In 2020, Gus was a lead producer on BenDeLaCreme Presents' first film, the original holiday musical extravaganza--The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Special (hulu, 2020)--and was chiefly responsible for developing and executing the release, marketing, distribution, and merchandising strategies for the film. In addition to his ongoing work with BenDeLaCreme Presents, Gus signed on as the season one distribution strategist for the award winning, short-form, digital series, These Thems: A Queer Comedy Series (OutFest, 2020), and is a key producer for season two, which is in active development. Most recently, he produced 5 short films for the Outset Young Filmmakers Project through Outfest LA which will be screening in October 2021.
